Greenoak North Amercia and  One of their Local dealers in Ontario Canada Norwell Dairy Systems, has installed a milking system on the largest Dairy Goat Facility Marilissa Farms in Trinidad and Tobago.

Lincoln Thackorie the owner of Marilissa Farms, has invested a great deal to achieve one of the most impressive dairy goat facilities we have ever seen. 

The main reason we are impressed is this farm is both commercial and very animal friendly, the picture of the goat looking out is the typical relaxed atmosphere for the animals that exists.

The milking system is a 2 x 20 rapid exit with automatic take off’s  designed to comfortable milk a herd of around 3-400 dairy goats per hour

This facility will also have a pasteurizing plant with bottling facilities and cheese making ability early 2011.

For those of you who are thinking of setting up a commercial dairy goat farm in the West Indies, this would be an excellent blueprint to follow.
